2019 Society of Smugglers JFC Signature Red

An inspired, head-spinning blend that only a master could pull off. Crafted from three of our favorite barrels, from three different vintages and four different Cabernet clones, that mingle with flourishes of deftly placed Syrah, Tannat, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The result is a huge but supple, mind-bending fruit bomb of pure palate pleasure.

With a nose complex enough on its own for a veritable master’s thesis, it’s redolent with scents of white flowers, plum, vanilla and tobacco. The body of this wine is defined by an incredibly soft and juicy mouthful of chocolate-covered cherries, pomegranate and crème brûlée that dance along mocha-tinged tannins. The finish is ridiculously long and lifted by hints of citrus. An artist’s wine to be sure.
