Lusciously drink-worthy and made exclusively of Caldwell Vineyard estate fruit from a wonderful vintage, this brilliant red combines the best of art, science and a little fifth dimension magic to create a heady ride through time and space. This bright and elegant Cab-based wine has a multi-dimensional measure of Syrah and Carménère, and a carefully titrated combination of Merlot and Pinot that elevates this ride to the moon and back. Full-throttle dark red fruits and a pleasantly astringent quality are carried across the palate like an exploding star, while a laser beam of mouthwatering acidity and silky tannins provide incredible balance to the entire payload. The pleasure principle is on full display with this earthbound delight, with maximum flavor velocity in every sip.
