2021 Malbec [clone 595]

Brains meet brawn…. We only make Malbec in special years, and Marc was hell bent on showcasing just how f’ing delicious this grape can be. He set his two favorite barrels aside from the outset and then babied them all the way through. The drought brought serious fruit concentration on this ballbuster, which initially pretends to be shy and reductive upon first sip, but then it hits – unfurling into an atmospheric river of blueberries, cherries, floral minerality and toasty oak vanilla all the way through its very long and super satisfying finish.
