2019 SOS Pinot Noir

Sweet baby jesus…. this barrel-aged beauty is a mouthful of pure pleasure that you could sip on all day, and night, long. Supple and sexy it’s a swirling symphony of ripe, sun-kissed flavors like plum cake, violets and bramble. The whole package is perfectly harmonized with mocha-tinged tannins and mouth-watering acidity that invites you back sip after fabulous sip. Honestly, this one of the best damn Pinots we’ve ever released, and maybe one of the best we’ve ever had.

Sourced from what will be our last vintage of Haynes Vineyard Pinot, down the street in Coombsville – which imparts the weight and girth only Napa Valley can provide, this vintage is impeccably balanced with equal parts fruit we get from Stu Bewley’s Alder Springs Vineyard in Mendocino – which offers up more delicate and complex flavors, and a hit of mouthwatering acid. The two together, blended in Marc’s extraordinary style, is worthy of serious Pinot envy.
