2019 Society of Smugglers Left Bank Red
2019 Society of Smugglers Left Bank Red
Swarthy and masculine, this Cabernet-based blend is lean and mean and not
for the faint of heart. It’s a Smuggler kinda wine that shows up to the showdown
packing plenty of heat with layers of tart red pomegranate and cherry with a solid
backbone of mouthwatering acid and ample, fine-as-silk tannins. This thing is
built like a French fortress and a worthy drink for Bordeaux wine fans, and those
of you who think you know what you like in a big red wine. This baby is young and
would be happiest with another year of bottle age. Drink 2020 through 2024.
