2013 CALDWELL Malbec [clone 595]

Absolutely unique and not easily missed, this beautiful red is a monster in the glass – deep, dark, heavy and brooding. But when you taste it, there’s a little bit of those things, but more so there are pretty flavors of cranberry, cola and minerals. The ripe fruits are lifted by pretty, integrated acidity and surprisingly silky tannins – satisfying and rare.
