2012 Petit Verdot [clone 400]

A huge wine with incredible density and palate weight, and tannins you can actually chew… this is PV, Caldwell style. It’s a warrior of a wine, fit for battle, dinner, fluffing, or whichever you decide. This vintage has a beautiful perfume-y nose with blackberry and rose petals but the palate is all business with serious Bing cherry, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and savory mineral notes; it's suprisingly refreshing for such a big, bad-ass red.
