2018 Society of Smuggler JFC Signature Red

Francophiles take note. This wine rides the line between porn star enhancement

and a female athlete’s more natural cup size. Forged from Cabernet (both

Sauvignon and Franc), that combine to make a buxom yet restrained wine

reminiscent of the original Bordeaux from which it takes cue… it’s the inspired

addition of our estate Tannat that brings the sizzle, adding a boatload of both

finely textured structure and mouthwatering acidity.

Red fruits, sour cherry and bramble combine with pine forest, wildflower and

saline, making for a wine with endless palate interest. The result is both ample

and food friendly, though a few years of bottle age will bring this baby into it’s

prime-time status.
