2008 Caldwell Syrah

[clone 470]

This elegant nose is dominated by ripe cherry and surrounded by black pepper, vanilla and coriander. A blackberry attack leads into an intense full-flavored mouth of black cherry, raspberries, black pepper supported by dark chocolate tannins. Wild blueberries and mineral characterize the long finish.
