2008 Caldwell Platinum

The nose is defined by intense red raspberry, cranberry, red plum, and blackberry with notes of vanilla, cocoa, and clove. A mixture of red and black currant leads the concentrated attack into a rich, velvety, luscious mouth of cranberry, black plum, black raspberry and dark chocolate. Silky raspberry tannins give way to a lingering, cherry finish.
